From the article: 10 Signs You've Checked Into Hotel Hell
As much as we don't like to think about it, a honeymoon can turn into hell in almost countless ways. While we hope for the best, that's not always the case. If your honeymoon was less than perfect, tell us about it (anonymously if you like). Because misery really does love company. Was Yours Hell?
Honeymoon from hell
- My husband accidentally locked his iphone and went to get it repaired while i was alone in the hotel room for 3 hours. he finally arrived home so drunk that the hotel staff carried him in. I have a phobia of vomit so knowing he was that drunk caused me to have a panic attack and run away. i stayed out all night in the dark crying. I finally got the courage to come help him only to find him head down floating in the plunge pool. I screamed and cried and dragged him, convinced he had died. but he then vomited water i sat there watching him and crying on his chest for an hour not being able to move him. when he finally came to he told me to pack my things, call my parents and leave without him cos we were getting divorced. i rented another room for the night then tried to reason with him the next day. we agreed to work things out and are still married but the rest of the honeymoon was hell and so has the first 10 months of our marriage. :( I still have hope though and am not ready to leav

Separate Beds...
- Because our honeymoon destination was a last minute decision, we ended up with really messed up booking...we had two single beds in our room.

HELL YES!!!
- Long story short: My wife brought her sister. Ever see Selma and Patty on The Simpsons? That's her. BOTH of them. 'Nuff said.

Hell in the Air
- My husband's a smoker and didn't want to fly in the first place. But I convinced him I really really wanted to honeymoon in Aruba. He was fine on the way there, and our honeymoon was actually pretty great. But on the way back he didn't have any more nicotine gum and the plane was delayed for three hours and THEN there was trouble landing -- the plane's hydraulics wouldn't drop. And we kept circling and circling and circling the airport. The flight attendants prepared us for an emergency landing, when at the last minute the brakes fell into place and we were able to land safely. I don't think we'll be visiting Aruba again, even though our 5th anniversary is coming and I'd really like to go.

Honeymoon Hell
- On the first day of our honeymoon in Costa Rica, my husband was stung by an insect and had an allergic reaction and almost died. Fortunately we were able to get medical help but it cast a pall over the entire honeymoon -- he didn't want to go outside, hike, go to the beach, go out to eat, do anything else on our honeymoon. We ended up going home early, and I still feel cheated.
