- For me, the height of romance is Seville, Spain. It's where I got engaged. It's such a beautiful city -- the antique colonial architecture and the streets lined with orange trees. Many of the hotels are built around central courtyards filled with plants. And it's a lovely city to stroll around because many of the streets are off-limits to cars.
