Background:
Harriet Bernstein lives on the island of Martha’s Vineyard where she currently writes for Martha’s Vineyard magazine and Cape Cod Life and runs a seasonal bed and breakfast. She has also contributed to New York magazine, Money magazine, and The New York Times Magazine.

In addition to her magazine work, Ms. Bernstein has co-authored two books on consumer products of the future, Future Stuff and More Future Stuff, which were published by Viking Penguin.
