Considered one of the world’s best examples of traditional golf-course architecture, the Golden Horseshoe Gold Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., who called the course his finest design. The course's seventh hole is a par-3 and bunkers and water protect its green.
Colonial Williamsburg also contains two other golf courses: The Green Course and executive-length Spotswood Course are both within putting distance.
