The bucolic setting is a peaceful and serene environment. You probably won’t feel guilty about napping in the afternoon. And there are plenty of nooks for curling up with a good book. In short, you can comfortably hole up here for a few days and lose yourself.
Couples of all ages should feel comfortable on property, where the multitude of offerings gives something to every age group. And since there are just 68 guest rooms and 40 homes spread along 120 acres, the resort never feels crowded. While you will see families and kids of all ages, with all the space, you don’t feel that the resort is overrun with children.
Of course, if you prefer chic, ultra mod décor and a variety of restaurants, you will not find it at Topnotch. While the rooms are homey, spacious and comfortable, they have an antique flair.
Note that town is five miles from the resort. If you don't have a car or feel like hiking, the resort will shuttle you in and back.
