The Fallen Giant dwarfs visitors to Yosemite.

The Fallen Giant is one of the many wonders in Mariposa Grove.

The Grove is at the southernmost part of the park and is home to some of the world’s oldest giant sequoia trees. The Grizzly Giant stands tall at 210 feet and is believed to be somewhere between 1,900 and 2,400 years old.

Picture this: It was in this very grove that inspired Galen Clark to get President Lincoln to sign off on an Act of Congress that then led to the establishment of Yosemite National Park.
