If you only go once, do not leave without a visit to Glacier Point. The drive up from Yosemite Valley can take an hour in the busy summer months, but there a few spots along the way that are worth a stop and a picture.
The final destination is one of the world’s great wonders. At 7,214 feet, the view high above Yosemite Valley takes in Yosemite Park, Tenaya Canyon, Liberty Cap, Nevada Fall, and the beauty of the Half Dome in all its glory. It just doesn’t get any better.
