Dining at Frenchman’s Reef

On-site restaurants, including the innovative Havana Blue restaurant at the Morning Star, make dining at the resort a chance for a romantic interlude.

Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort has several restaurants and bars.

Windows on the Harbor features a fabulous water view and serves buffet-style meals, including an extensive breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets and a Sunday brunch. A seafood extravaganza is held on Friday night.

More casual options are the Sunset Bar & Grill, an open-air restaurant with spectacular views of the sunset, and Coco Joe’s Restaurant on Morning Star Beach, with burgers, sandwiches, and salads for lunch.

Captain’s Café serves pub-style food in a casual sports bar atmosphere. The Star Market Coffee House on Morning Star Beach is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Located on-site in the Morning Star but independently owned is Havana Blue, a sophisticated beachside restaurant that has quickly become one of the island’s most celebrated dining spots. The cuisine is “South America meets the Pacific Rim,” with a menu that is both creative and tasty.

Bars include the Swim Up Pool Bar overlooking Charlotte Amalie Harbor, the Rum Bar on the hotel terrace, and the Lobby Bar in the lobby.

Honeymoon couples may enjoy putting together a picnic at the Presto Marketplace, a deli in the Frenchman’s Reef lobby.
