Anse Chastanet has two restaurants. The Piti Piton and Treehouse restaurant serves four-course dinners that combine tropical and international cuisines. The emphasis is on local ingredients, including herbs and fruits grown on-site. The ambiance is decidedly romantic, thanks to candlelight.
The open-air Trou au Diable restaurant, located beachside, serves a daily lunch buffet plus salads, sandwiches, and Creole dishes. Six nights a week, it becomes Apsara, specializing in delicately spiced Indian cuisine with Caribbean touches. On Tuesday night, the restaurant offers a Caribbean buffet. To help create the right mood, the beach is lit up with tiki torches.
Anse Chastanet has two bars, the colorfully decorated Piton Bar near the Piti Piton Restaurant and the Beach Bar at Trou au Diable. Afternoon tea is served at both from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
