Anse Chastanet has 49 individually designed rooms, each laid out and decorated differently and identified by charming names like ginger, passion flower and royal palm.

Thirty-seven guestrooms are located in individual buildings tucked against the mountainside; twelve are on the beach amidst tropical gardens. All have the private feeling of a hideaway.

Interiors have white walls, terra cotta floors, furniture made from island woods such as teak and mahogany, and cotton bedspreads and upholstery in St. Lucia’s own national fabric, a vivid madras plaid. Colorful artwork, some by local artists, decorates the walls.

There are several categories of hillside rooms. Premium rooms, the largest, have spectacular views of the Pitons, the ocean, or both. Deluxe rooms have king-size bed and the same type of views.

Superior rooms, some octagonal, have balconies with similarly sensational views. Some have separate living and bedrooms areas and some have no fourth wall. Standard rooms have garden views or partial Piton or ocean views.

All rooms are outfitted with small refrigerators, electric tea/coffee makers, ceiling fans, wooden jalousie louvers, hair dryers, and in-room safes.
