The Buccaneer is an extremely popular spot for weddings, thanks to its picturesque setting. The facility hosts weddings for just a bride and groom or for parties up to 100.
Couples can marry on one of the beaches, inside the historic Sugar Mill, or anywhere else on the resort’s lush grounds. Several wedding packages are available, and the staff is flexible and creative.
The Hibiscus Wedding Package, with a 20 person minimum, includes three bouquets, three boutonnieres, white table linens, candles, decorative flowers, a photographer, music, a wedding coordinator, marriage forms, and a wedding officiate with a choice of vows.
A reception dinner at The Mermaid or the Brass Parrot includes hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, a champagne toast, a three-course dinner, a wedding cake, and the gratuity. Breakfast the following morning is also included.
The bride and groom receive champagne, fruit, cheese, and chocolate upon arrival, a 25-minute his and hers massage, and sterling silver Cruzan bracelets, St. Croix’s signature jewelry.
The more modest Elope to Paradise Wedding Package for 2 to 6 guests includes a bouquet and boutonniere, champagne, wedding cake, a wedding planner, a taxi to court for legal paperwork, a non-denominational minister and witnesses, a photographer, and private roundtrip airport transfers.
Other packages, such as the Sugar Mill Wedding Package with a 12-person maximum and the Bougainvillea Wedding Package for 2 to 19 guests, are also available.
