Officers and Yachtsmen on the Royal Yacht Britannia

The members of the Royal Navy who kept the ship afloat were hand-picked to serve their Queen and country. The Admiral had responsibility for the staff of 20 officers and 220 yachtsmen. There were several departments: Seamen, Navigation, Engineering, Supply, and Medical. The Royal Marines Band sailed on voyages as well.
