Each of the ten guest suites at Hacienda del Cerezo has its own theme (bear, heart, grape, maize, etc.). The suites include a generous bedroom area, a cozy living room with bancos (built-in adobe benches that are more like couches and sofas after the addition of cushions), a kiva fireplace, satellite TV, and hand-carved, beamed ceilings. Bathrooms are spacious, and have gigantic two-person Jacuzzi bathtubs, separate showers, double sinks, bidets, and a telephone.

Each suite also has a charming and private courtyard surrounded by adobe walls and a gate that leads to hiking paths. The patio’s table for two is a wonderful perch from which to take in the stunning sunsets.

The carefully selected, rustic décor is illuminated from ample windows that surround each room with a view of either the Jemez or Sangre de Cristo mountains, and the vast open space of the Hacienda’s immediate grounds.

Inside, there is plenty of space to settle in, with king-sized beds, 6-foot closets, and comfortable seating in hand-made chairs. Wi-fi is available throughout the hotel. Each room is also graced with a basket of food: fruit, crackers, bread and butter, and cookies.
