The resort has only one eatery on-premises, but it is a very good one.

Blue Heron Restaurant is managed by a renowned Santa Fe chef who has masterminded organic fare with gourmet flair. Meat and poultry are free-range, and herbs are grown at the property. All breads and pastries are made in-house.

Blue Heron’s full bar spotlights sake and organic wines. The restaurant and bar are set in a century-old adobe building with an unmistakeable New Mexico air. A pond-side bar and patio are open during nice weather.

Blue Heron serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast coffee and tea are complimentary. Some seasonal room rates include a full breakfast. There is no room service at Sunrise Springs, but guests may pick up meals to eat in their rooms or on their patios.
