TripAdvisor fans made this this water-facing residential property, which opened in Ghirardelli Square in 2008, a top San Francisco hotel. Yet it’s doesn't quite feel like one. That's because it's actually a timeshare/residence club. (Don't worry; no one is going to bug you to buy one of the 53 luxurious units.)
The extremely large, apartment-sized units at Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghiradelli Square are equipped with all the amenities of a high-end, well-appointed home. The kitchen contains a convection oven, wine cooler, Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher. There's a washer/dryer in a closet.
Duplex living, with a master bedroom on the ground floor and another one flight up, makes this an appealing destination for extended-stay travelers and two couples who enjoy cooking or entertaining while in San Francisco.
