Neither bland nor boring, NYLO Providence Warwick was built from the ground up to create an atmosphere all its own that combines practicality and environmental sustainability with a sense of whimsy. Thanks to poured concrete walls, ceilings, and floors, the 163 guest rooms provide a welcome quiet.
Yet the public spaces, including the book-lined lobby and the multi-purpose Loft with its undulating bar, dining area, and lounge space, foster fun and communication.
The free-standing hotel is located on a bank of the Pawtuxet River River and has a terrace to maximize views of the water and the 19th-century red-brick New England plants that still line the waterway. On the other side of the hotel is a residential street, and across the way the Warwick Mall stands.
