The 530 rooms at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach include 60 suites and a total of 90 rooms with full ocean views.
As in the main lobby, the décor in the guest rooms in the Outrigger Waikiki is an example of the OHANA commitment to incorporate local culture into its properties: heavy wood furniture adds accents to light-color papyrus-textured walls, and Hawaiian artifacts draw the eye.
The rooms themselves do not lack for modern conveniences: TV, cable, climate control linked to the sliding lanai doors, free Internet access and free telephone calls to anywhere in the United States.
Rooms could stand to have a few more convenient outlets and the there’s no wi-fi yet, but these are minor quibbles; it’s a beautiful place to relax after a hard day on the beach.
