For couples with a large guest list, part of the meadow can be tented to accommodate up to 400 people. Required destination wedding buyouts of the entire property start at $25,000.
Multiple venues throughout Glenmere's 150 acres provide variety: Guests can have cocktails by the pool, which is lit at night, or on the terrace.
Memorable wedding photography is assured. A staircase in the inner courtyard features original wrought-iron railings and provides a graceful location for the wedding party to pose. And a wide inner staircase is an ideal setting to depict the bride and groom.
The China Room, Glenmere's private dining room, may be used for a rehearsal dinner or intimate wedding feast. Samples of the owners' 31 china collections, which couples are permitted to select for their service, festoon the walls. And views from the windows are worthy of a Hudson River School master.
