Two impressive restaurants occupy Acqualina: One is the Florida outpost of Il Mulino, consistently acknowledged by the
Zagat Survey to be the best Italian restaurant in New York.
On the menu at Il Mulino are such mouth-watering dishes as homemade ravioli with black truffles and Champagne sauce, spaghettini Bolognese, saltimbocca, and langoustine with risotto.
Acqualina's signature restaurant is 88-seat Aaria, which serves breakfast (complete with a lox-and-bagel bar at the buffet), lunch, and truly tantalizing dinners in which flavor and artistry combine to yield memorable dishes.
For a special occasion, request a table for two and only two on the lawn adjacent to the beach (see photo). The staff positions lanterns to gently illuminate the area and provides squeeze flashlights to read the menu once dusk fades to dark. Dine with the soft glow of candles illuminating your private table, set with sea shells.
Then after dinner, kick off your shoes and head for the beach, just steps away....
