The Grand Wailea’s nine pools include the adults-only Hibiscus pool, which spreads over nearly 5,000 square feet and is lined with 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass tile.
Children, as well as the young at heart, may romp in the Wailea Canyon activity pool, a 25,700-square-foot complex of nine pools on six different levels connected by a “river.” Also in the complex are water slides, waterfalls, caves, Jacuzzis, the world’s only water elevator, a Tarzan pool with a rope swing, and a swim-up bar.
The nearby Wailea Golf Club has three championship courses, as well as the David Leadbetter Golf Academy for instruction. Guests can also use the Wailea Tennis Club, less than a mile away, with eleven Plexipave courts, three lit at night.
