Eleanor and Franklin shared this modest bedroom on the second floor of their Campobello cottage during the summers 1909-1921. After Franklin Roosevelt contracted polio in August 1921 and became paralyzed from the waist down, he used the tutor's room on the main floor as his bedroom.
