Sandals Grande Ocho Rios resort has two separate parts, the Manor and Riviera. The newer Manor side has the nicer communal swimming pool, a popular gathering spot thanks to the pool bar.
Sandals Grande Ocho Rios also has many smaller private pools for guests and 23 hot tubs.
Shuttles run frequently to the Riviera and the beach, which is a five-minute bus ride away from the Manor.
Couples who are devoted beach-goers may be a bit disappointed by what they find at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. The beach, home to the resort's pier, water sports area, and private beach club, is relatively small.
