The main aspect of the garden, named after Brigit, a pre-Christian goddess, are the four representations of Celtic seasonal festivals—Bealtaine, Samhain, Imbolc and Lughnasa—part of Ireland’s pre-Christian heritage.
There are also nature trails passing a recreated ring fort, a thatched roof roundhouse, and a calendar sundial, the largest in Ireland.
Also on the grounds are a cafe serving organic vegetarian dishes and a small gift ship with Celtic-inspired spiral necklaces and earrings. The mythical beauty of the gardens makes it a popular spot for weddings.
