Internationally famed chef and TV celebrity Gordon Ramsay chose The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt to plant his first restaurant in Ireland.

Situated on the third floor of the hotel, the Gordon Ramsay restaurant at Powerscourt overlooks Sugar Loaf Mountain from behind floor-to-ceiling glass windows. In summer, the terrace is open for al fresco dining.

Chef Ramsay states, "“It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to open in Ireland, in partnership with The Ritz-Carlton and in such beautiful surroundings as the Powerscourt Estate, County Wicklow, Ireland is internationally renowned for the quality of its food and the warmth of its hospitality and I will ensure that these qualities are brought to the fore at Gordon Ramsay at Powerscourt."

As with most restaurants conceived by celebrity chefs, the namesake is rarely present: Instead, he devises the menu and trains the team to cook in his style.

Gordon Ramsay at Powerscourt restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. For a close-up experience, request to dine at The Chef’s Table inside the kitchen and watch Gordon’s professional team at work.

Guests who desire more informal meals can eat at the Sugar Loaf Lounge or McGill’s traditional Irish pub at the hotel. There is also an excellent cafeteria at the Powerscourt Estate.
