Our one-bedroom suite was well-equipped with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop with two burners, and a microwave oven. Guests who want Homewood Suites by Hilton to do the grocery shopping for them can fill out a form on the fridge and hand it in to the front desk. Items are delivered to your room, with the amount added to your bill.
The suite at Homewood we stayed in was extremely clean and spacious. In the living room area there was a sofa, coffee table, side table, easy chair and ottoman — yet the space was not crowded. The adjacent kitchen area had a granite countertop to work at or serve food on, plus two substantial dining chairs.
Are Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotels right for a romantic getaway?
Most couples are likely to find the privacy and spaciousness of Homewood Suites welcoming. And there are ample pillows on the king-size bed. (Linens, though, could be finer; they feel a bit scratchy against the skin).
I also like that our hotel reserved the hours of 10pm to midnight for adults. As a brand with extra space — including a fold-out couch in every room and cribs by request — Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotels attracts a lot of families. Kids squealing by the swimming pool late at night and teenagers on cellphones sitting in the hallway can break a romantic mood — and I witnessed both during my stay.
Nonetheless, you may find that Homewood Suites by Hilton provide you with a perfect hideaway for a few days, with just about everything you need nearby.
