Where Did That Info Go?

Q: Yesterday I was found an article on your homepage about honeymoon albums -- and today it's gone. Can I see it again?

A: Just about every two days, I feature a new blog entry on the Honeymoons site, and that pushes the bottom one off the page. View Previous Blogposts. If you really like an article and want to bookmark it, consider using Del.icio.us. To view recent articles, see latest articles.

The Trouble with B&Bs

Q: My fiance and I are planning on heading to San Francisco for our honeymoon and have found a B&B that sounds amazing. But people are telling us that B&B's are short on privacy. Is this true? Should we go to a hotel instead?

A: Think about it: On the morning after your wedding night, do you really want to attend a communal breakfast -- within a strictly proscribed time -- and sit down with your new spouse among a group of grinning strangers? Subject yourselves to knowing looks at best and first-night-sex wisecracks, at worst? I wouldn't.

That said, if the place you've found really appeals, contact them and pose these questions:

1) Is breakfast in bed an option?
2) Do guests have to eat breakfast at a certain time?
3) Does the room have a private bathroom?
4) Are walls insulated against sounds above, below, in hallways?

It could turn out that the B&B you're considering is flexible and private enough to suit your needs. If not, look elsewhere!

Q: I'm planning a second honeymoon in Antarctica and want to know if there are any resorts in this area. The hotel must have a casino or my wife won't go.

A: I don't know of any resorts on the continent. Most travel is by ship, and the smaller ships that can navigate the waters down there don't typically feature a casino. But there's so much to explore and photograph during the days, she may not even miss a casino at night. Find out more about Antarctic cruises.
