A boutique hotel with a rich history, Edouard VII opened in 1877 as the place to stay for elite travelers and lovers of opera.

To this day it remains the only hotel on Paris' famed Avenue L'Opera and features the same delicate stonework, cornices, and balconies as its neighbors. The effect is like an architectural can-can line kicking out down the street.

Today, Edouard VII's clientele consists of a mix of business people and international vacationers, especially young couples on romantic sojourns. Located in the ninth arrondissement, the hotel is in walking distance to Paris cultural hotspots such as the Garnier Opera House and the Louvre, as well as some of the best restaurants and shopping the city has to offer.

The hotel has 70 modern rooms, a mix of standard and superior accommodations, as well as decked-out suites that will make a stay all the more special. Suites include balconies overlooking the opera house, as well as deliciously comfortable king-size beds to cosset honeymooners and lovebirds during their stay.

As an older building, Edouard VII isn't particularly large, so it doesn't house a spa or even its own restaurant. However, a bar and fitness room fit in. And due to its intimate size, the amount of attention you'll receive from the staff is significant.
