The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge contains four restaurants, ranging from the casual to the award-winning, where the chef presents an elaborately prepared meal.
Several of the restaurants feature views of Lake Beauvert and the snow-capped Rockies beyond. We found the tastiest dishes, such as the seafood chowder, to contain generous amounts of healthful, delicious, locally caught salmon.
Tent City Pub, a sports bar, is the most informal place to eat. At night, you can listen to music and dance there. Meadows, on the lower level, is the go-to breakfast place and also serves lunch.
Have a light meal or cocktails in the Emerald Lounge in the great hall lobby. In warm weather, go out onto the terrace and take in the lake and mountain view.
Experience regional Canadian cuisine in Moose’s Nook for dinner. And in season reserve a table at Edith Cavell, the hotel’s four-diamond restaurant with equally prize-winning views.
