Set in the Canadian Rockies beside sparkling Beauvert Lake and surrounded by towering pine trees, the 903-acre Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge draws outdoors lovers in all seasons.

The property consists of 441 rooms in upscale cabins dotting either side of the main lodge. Originally a tented camp along the lake shore, the property was bought by the Canadian National Railway. The company opened the Jasper Park Lodge in 1922 and over the years refined it to become the quintessential mountain getaway.

With nature at your doorstep, you won’t have to go far to spot the indigenous wildlife. We spotted a fox on one of our jaunts and three different elks sporting majestic antlers on another.

Respectful of this pristine and majestic environment, Fairmont practices many green initiatives.
