Perched on a Zambian cliff near Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, Stanley Safari Lodge offers couples a luxury safari experience in a uniquely designed resort that opened in 2002.

Stanley Safari Lodge has just 10 private cottages, each with its own plunge pool. Open to the air, yet protected from the elements, Stanley Safari Lodge is an ideal spot for a couple to begin exploring Africa.

Visiting Zambia

Located in southern Africa, Zambia is surrounded by eight neighbors: Malawi, Mozambique, Congo, Tanzania, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

Years ago, Zimbabwe was the country most visitors chose to stay in when visiting Victoria Falls, and its stately Victoria Falls Hotel still stands within walking distance to "the smoke that thunders."

Tragically, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe's poor leadership has sent his country into severe decline, and many travelers avoid the country to refrain from endorsing his vile dictatorship.

Consequently, peaceable Zambia, which lies on the other side of Victoria Falls, has started to develop more resorts, tours, and attractions for international visitors.
