Casa de Campo is located 10 minutes from La Romana Airport, which Casa de Campo built, and about 10 minutes from the village of La Romana, which offers some shopping.
The resort is adjacent to Altos de Chavon, a receation of a 16th century Mediterranean village, with shopping, restaurants, a 5,000 seat amphitheater, and spectacular views of the Chavon River.
A shuttle bus leaves from the lobby three times during the day and half hourly after 5:00 p.m. The ride takes about 15 minutes.
