Dining at Casa de Campo

Some of Casa de Campo’s restaurants, like the Mexican eatery Casa del Rio, are located nearby in Altos de Chavon, a recreation of a 16th-century Mediterranean village.

Casa de Campo’s nine restaurants are spread across the property.

Tropicana Grill, which specializes in filet mignon, is in the hotel’s main building, which also houses the lobby, business center, and other services.

The casual Upper Deck, next to the pool, offers drinks and sandwiches all day.

El Pescador, a lovely seaside eatery, serves seafood and light fare overlooking Minitas Beach.

Chinois, which features Chinese and Japanese cuisine is located at the resort’s marina, the Plaza Portofino.

Altos de Chavon has three restaurants. La Piazzetta, an excellent Italian restaurant, offers the finest dining option. Guests can enjoy more casual fare at Café del Sol, which features brick oven pizza and ice cream, or El Sombrero, a Mexican restaurant with music and a donkey named Margarito.

Restaurants that primarily cater to the golf crowd include the 19th Hole, a snack bar, and the Lago Grill, which serves breakfast to all guests and lunch buffets. Casa de Campo’s ten bars are also dispersed throughout the property. The include the Sports Bar near the lobby; Coco Mar at Minitas Beach; the Aqua Bar, a swim-up bar in the pool; and the Pub and the Tequila Bar, both at Altos de Chavon.
