Voyager of the Seas' main dining room is a gracious, three-story space with waiter service. Each floor is named for a well-known opera: Carmen, La Boheme, and the Magic Flute. A huge crystal chandelier illuminates the multi-tiered dining room and its dramatic grand staircase. Chairs are comfortable and velvet-upholstered.

Once per voyage, Voyager of the Seas puts on an awe-inspiring Midnight Buffet. For the first half hour, crowds ooh and aah and photograph the chefs' and bakers' creations -- and then the room closes for a little while, as the food is prepared for serving.

Expect to see huge amounts of sushi, smoked salmon, savory salads, fruit concoctions, sliced beef, and exquisite cakes that look too good to eat.
