Services such as photography, live music, and receptions can be added to customize a wedding package.Royal Ocean Events handles wedding arrangedments for Holland America weddings taking place in North America or the Caribbean; couples must go through them. The Wedding Experience handles weddings on European sailings.Couples who inform Holland America Line that they are on a honeymoon are invited to a complimentary honeymooners' party at sea and receive a honeymoon certificate. Friends and family or the couple themselves can purchase a honeymoon package, which includes a bouquet of fresh flowers and a commemorative silver picture frame.The anniversary package includes flowers in the stateroom and balloons on the door the day of embarkation. A photography credit is applied to the couple’s on-board account, and the chef will accommodate a special dessert or cake request.The on-board renewal-of-vows package includes a corsage for the bride, a photo and photo album, dinner for two in the Pinnacle Grill, and a live music acknowledgement. Couples may invite fellow passengers to attend their vow renewal ceremony and celebration. Champagne, wine and hors d’oeuvres are served at the event.

Guests on Holland America Line Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises that visit Half Moon Cay, the company’s private island, may renew wedding vows in a traditional Bahamian chapel in a garden overlooking the sea. Participants often wear tropical attire. Champagne and cake are served afterwards. Each couple receives a photo in a souvenir frame. To arrange, contact the guest relations manager at the front office on board.Celebrations Package ($119 in 2005) includes flowers and champagne in stateroom upon arrival, dinner one evening in the Pinnacle Grill, and a photograph in an engraved frame. Just for Us Package includes one dozen roses and champagne in stateroom upon arrival, deluxe bathrobes, in-stateroom tea service one afternoon, in-stateroom dessert and champagne one evening, table for two in dining room, one dinner in the Pinnacle Grill, two 25-minute massages, and framed photo.
