Peter Island Resort is very spread out over a central portion of the 1,300-acre island. While golf carts roam the premises offering rides, guests should expect to do a fair amount of walking to the restaurants, spa, gym, and other facilities.
Although the resort provides cushiony flip-flops ideal for island promenades, guests who prefer having all their destinations close by may be frustrated by Peter Island Resorts layout.
Children are permitted but rare. The business center, while free, provides only two computers, one of which is likely to be hogged by a teenager whod rather play in cyberspace than in the Caribbean. Considering the enticing surroundings, guests are advised to leave work behind.
The BVI is part of the West Indies, where service is not of the docile variety. Maids, gardeners, waitresses, and other staff possess a lot of warmth, personality, and pride.
