#5 Best New Hotel for Romance 2008: Beatles Hotel
This eagerly awaited property will provide Beatles fans with a place to immerse themselves in the city the Fab Four called home.
Since Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the widows of John Lennon and George Harrison are not affiliated with the Beatles Hotel -- its official name is the Hard Day's Night Hotel -- it is more of an homage than an officially endorsed property.
Themed around the history of the Beatles, the Hard Days Night Hotel is located in a converted 1884 building. It displays original artifacts from the band as well as newly commissioned artwork.
The John Lennon suite features a white piano and the Sir Paul McCartney suite displays a knight's suit of armor. More practical in-room amenities include wi-fi flatscreen TVs, good for watching reruns of Help! and A Hard Day's Night, the Beatles' two films released in the 1960s.
