Even “I do” is more colorful at Green Turtle Club.

Tying the knot anywhere in The Bahamas is relatively uncomplicated. Only a one-day residency and a $100 marriage license are required.

Green Turtle Club is an elegant spot for a destination wedding, which can be held on the beach, at the marina, on the restaurant’s patio, and other scenic venues.

All the same, Green Turtle Club is neither a cinch to get to nor a terribly frugal destination wedding option. As such, Green Turtle Club is probably best suited to small weddings whose bride and groom are well off, with a limited guest list of motivated friends and family.

The resort’s restaurant prepares seafood-centric wedding menus, and its competent staff will assist couples with their clergyperson, flowers, band, etc. Group rates may be available depending on timing. (Brides, bear in mind that June through November are hurricane season in the Caribbean.)
