Harrah's Atlantic City is a casino-hotel on the marina side of this seaside destination, away from the crowds and hubbub of its legendary Boardwalk.
Opened in 1980, Harrah's Atlantic City has recently undergone a huge, multi-million-dollar renovation.
The upgraded Harrah's Atlantic City features additional hotel rooms, restaurants, a spectacular indoor swimming pool, shops (including a Sony store), and an Elizabeth Arden Red Door spa and salon.
Two sounds that you won't hear at Harrah's Atlantic City are screaming children and the clink of coins. The hotel is geared to adults who like to drink, gamble, and have fun. And the large gaming floor holds both slots and table games. However, the former do not reward winners with coins. Instead, tickets are dispensed and redeemable for the real stuff at cashiers' windows.
Harrah's Atlantic City is one of four Harrah's Entertainment Company properties in New Jersey. The others, all of which are located on the Boardwalk, are Caesars Atlantic City , Ballys Atlantic City, and Showboat Atlantic City.
