If you are looking for a relaxing, hassle-free, low-key beach vacation, Curtain Bluff is an ideal place.
It offers two beautiful beaches and being on them and in the water is the main attraction.
The resort has lots of room for guests, and you’ll never feel crowded or that you need to worry about getting a beach chair.
Since everything is included, it is a worry-free vacation of top-notch quality that will send you home feeling truly relaxed as opposed to ending up at home feeling like you need a vacation after your vacation.
Guests tend to be familes with young-to-teenage kids as well as couples in their 20s and early 30s on a honeymoon. We didn't see too many senior folks.
If you are looking for a super-busy, party-oriented getaway, Curtain Bluff will not suit your tastes. There is really nothing to do after dinner and not much nearby to escape to. The bar closes at 10:30 pm and with no TV in-room, night owls may feel restless.
If you’re a super-casual person, you may be irked by the fact you are required to dress for dinner, which means collared shirts, pants, and shoes for men, and dresses, skirts, or slacks for women. On the other hand, if you want a bit of fanciness in your vacation, Curtain Bluff allows you to enjoy a bit of glamour and romance in the evenings.
The resort does allow children, and there are many families vacationing. You're less likely to encounter them on the Atlantic beach. If you’d prefer to have a completely adult-only experience, you may want to stay elsewhere or come during the month of February, when kids aren’t allowed.
