There are two restaurants at Curtain Bluff -- an open-air dining room where breakfast and dinner are served, and a beachside restaurant that offers a delicious lunch.
Meals can be complemented by offerings from the resorts large 10,000-bottle wine cellar.
Highlights of eating at Curtain Bluff are dinner in the main dining room and the beachside lunch. The latter was my favorite meal of the day, and I soon found myself lying on the beach in the late morning, looking forward to the buffet of fresh-grilled fish, yummy pastas, soup, tasty salads, fruits, vegetables, and desserts each day.
Make sure to try the grilled wahoo, a local fish. In addition, there was often a special pot of a surprise such as jambalaya packed with fresh shrimp, lobster and fish; a spicy curry; or some other scrumptious dish.
There is also a menu of sandwiches, salads and snacks one may order from instead of (or in addition to) the buffet.
Sitting on the beach, eating fresh food with a glass of local Wadadli beer while looking at the ocean? Cant be beat.
Dinner is a formal affair, with candles and an extensive menu, including tasty desserts. Dinner includes a choice of soup, appetizer, and salads to begin the meal. The main course always includes a pasta dish, fresh seafood dishes, and a meat entrée.
Dont miss the native lobster at dinner and make sure to try the molten chocolate cake for dessert -- it takes 15 minutes to prepare, but its worth the wait.
Guests can also opt for a relaxing breakfast, quick lunch, or romantic evening meal in their room. Room service is available at all meal times.
