Run by Diane and Janice Bustin, two compatible and good-humored sisters, the 45th Parallel Restaurant serves the best lobster roll this writer has had the pleasure to devour.
The key to deliciousness: Fresh lobster and plenty of it (2 ounces per roll). Cradled in a lightly toasted roll, a layer of lobster is spread between a layer of lettuce and a squirt of mayonnaise. Simple. Pure. Perfect!
Visitors will also get to meet Herman, the largest lobster caught by local fisherman that season. The sisters keep him in their lobster tank as a pet and release Herman back into the bay when the season ends.
