How to Get Married (and Honeymoon) in Las Vegas

Wedding planning overwhelming you? Do it the easy way.

Difficulty Level: easy      Time Required: about a week

Here's How:
  1. Agree on a wedding date.
  2. Survey Las Vegas wedding chapels (see below).
  3. Choose one. (Hint: The nicest ones are in casino-hotels.)
  4. Ask to speak to a wedding coordinator.
  5. Ask her to fax or email information about the hotel's wedding packages.
  6. Find out if the date and time you want for the ceremony are available.
  7. Book it.
  8. Invite friends and family.
  9. Make plane and hotel reservations.
  10. Let reservationists know you're coming for your wedding or honeymoon. You may get an upgrade.
  11. Make reservations for a celebratory lunch or dinner.
  12. Don't forget to order the wedding cake.
  13. Arrive a day early to get your marriage license at the Clark County courthouse downtown.
  14. After the ceremony and the celebration, slip away. Remember: It's your honeymoon now, not a group vacation.

Tips:
  1. You can rent everything you need in Las Vegas for a turn-key wedding, including gown, veil, shoes, and tuxedo.
  2. Do you dream of a theme wedding? Companies in Las Vegas can help you make it come true, down to the last detail.
  3. Don't think for a minute that you're missing out by not having your wedding in your home town. This will be great!
