Whether you're planning a honeymoon, an anniversary trip, a Valentine's Day getaway, or a romantic vacation, there are few things more romantic than spending sunny days and moonlit nights at sea.

Cruise lines carried more than 21 million passengers last year. And ships hold special interest for couples. Imagine holding your wedding aboard one of the elegant Cunard ocean liners, perhaps on a voyage across the Atlantic or taking a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Antarctica aboard the Seabourn Quest.

Perhaps, inspired by the Oscar-nominated movie Frozen, you're pining for the fjords; Hurtigruten cruises the Norwegian coast and offers lots of adventurous excursions. Or maybe you appreciate being among the first to experience a new ship. If that's the case, Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, launching in November, promises to dazzle, with features such as a sky-diving simulator, bumper cars, and even virtual balconies that you simply won't find anywhere else at sea.
