Recently I've scouted some exceptionally lovely romantic inns (Windham Hill in Vermont and The Point in Upstate New York) where guest rooms do not have a TV.
It made me wonder: Do you consider the lack of a TV when you travel together a deprivation -- or an aphrodisiac that helps you focus more on one another? Vote below.

we don’t have a tv at home, and haven’t for the last five or six years, so having one in a hotel room is a bit of a treat. on the other hand, if the room doesn’t have a tv, it’s not of any particular concern, since we live without one quite nicely anyway.
I haven’t turned on a hotel TV in years and years of travel. And I’m not even adverse to a little TV watching on occasion.

We do like to have a TV in our room when we travel, but we mainly use it for checking the weather forecast.
