(1) Deb says:

I’ve always wanted to stroll through New England in the fall. Eat seafood, drive country roads, stare at the Atlantic.

Number 2 is Bali. Completely different and a lot more expensive!

(2) Marcia says:

I’d go to a cabin by a lake in Wisconsin and spend my days fishing, floating and reading. Oh wait, it’s a honeymoon. Fat chance for a 58-year-old spinster … but if it was a honeymoon, there’d be other activity as well. :)

I am getting married in October and if we were able to go on a honeymoon with unlimited funding, I would definitely want to head to Italy!

Great choice, Connie. There’s really nothing like it. And of all the places I’ve seen in Italy, nothing’s more romantic than Venice:

PS: Congratulations on your engagement :-)

My husband and I are closing in on our forty-fourth anniversary, so we don’t qualify in the honeymoon department. We still enjoy romance, however, and our dream vacation would include Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti.

Thanks for stopping by, Susan. And congratulations! Those are all terrific places. And since I don’t believe that romance should end on the honeymoon, I also have plenty of info on anniversary trips: http://honeymoons.about.com/od/anniversary/bb/celebrate.htm

Happy trails!

(7) Nancy says:

We took a wonderful trip to Canada and I would love to go back. Not on the credit card, though! I’m very happy to have paid for my last trip with cash on the barrelhead.

(8) Franny Syufy says:

I’ve already had the love of my life and there’ll be no more anniversaries for me. However, if I were young and in love again, AND had no credit reserves, I can’t think of anything nicer than a cabin in the woods, or by a lake or beach. We’d economize by cooking our own meals (I’d bring tons of fresh strawberries and whipped cream). During the day, we’d explore our surroundings, bring a blanket and picnic basket, and our camera.

During the evenings, we’d stay in, by a cozy fire, cuddling, talking, and. . .

(9) Bonny says:

I live in Canada, and I can think of oodles of places I’d love to go visit with a sweetie, were I not single. Strolling through Montreal in the height of Jazz Festival season or kayaking around Salt Spring Island and visiting the Saturday market again would be high on my list.

(10) Pam says:

I’d charter a sailboat and sail around the British Virgin Islands!

Hi, I am getting married in Nov this year. Would love to places where Nov is the best time to visit for honeymoon. I hope you guys know what I mean, it should be just `oh so beautiful` as far as the nature is concerned. My budget is around 2.5-3.5K USD. Any suggestions??..BTW I would be travelling from India.
