Sandals' Newest Resort: Emerald Bay, Bahamas

Located on the sunny, pristine Bahamas Out Island of Grand Exuma, Sandals Emerald Bay began life as a luxurious Four Seasons Resort.

When that didn't work out, the 500-acre beachfront property was bought by Sandals Resorts, known throughout the Caribbean as an adults-only, all-inclusive brand for honeymoons, romantic getaways, and destination weddings.

The transformation is almost complete; the new Sandals Emerald Bay is scheduled to open on January 22, 2010 -- and right now the company is offering discounts up to 50% during its grand opening sale (check rates).
