Airplane Baggage Update

Will you be paying more to check baggage on an airplane the next time you fly?

As of May 5, 2008 you could be, if you turn in more than one piece of luggage per person.

Faced with rising fuel costs and other expenses, many airlines have already cut back on meals and passenger amenities. The latest is reducing the number of free checked bags from two to one. Can you still check an extra bag or more? Yes, but it'll cost you.
