St. Kitts in the Caribbean: Honeymoon Serenity

A small island in the Caribbean, St. Kitts isn't for everyone. For couples who seek a placid honeymoon, want a quiet break from the wired life, and welcome a chance to stay in a small romantic inn on a tropical getaway, St. Kitts may suit their desires.

Writer Cynthia Blair traveled to St. Kitts, photographed its attractions, and came back to describe what it's like to vacation there.

St. Kitts Lodging
Wondering if there's a place in St. Kitts that's right for you? Says Cynthia:

"The Golden Lemon Inn is charming, decorated by a former shelter magazine editor, who with his partner are congenial hosts. Its beachside villas with plunge pools offer couples on a honeymoon complete privacy.

"Rawlins Plantation Inn features a beautiful main house, lush gardens, and outstanding views.

"Ottley’s Plantation Inn is the only one of the three that has a spa, located in a cozy hut nestled in the woods. While the inn has no beach access, its pool is large and inviting. It offers some beautiful spots for a wedding ceremony in tandem with a honeymoon.

"St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino is a large resort hotel with the best beach access. Honeymoon couples will find non-stop activities, plenty of other guests to interact with, and everything they might need without leaving the property."
