If you're like most couples, at some time in your relationship (maybe even on your honeymoon!), you're going to find yourselves at odds. There are bound to be misunderstandings, and feelings that get hurt. Emotionally Focused Therapy
is a relatively new approach to helping couples deal with conflict by acknowledging their emotional dependence on one another (not a bad thing!) and teaching them to react with compassion rather than with defensiveness when conflicts occur.
