Thanks to a Christmas Day terrorist incident on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, airline passengers are being subjected to tighter security. Some airlines have also restricted passengers to
one carry-on bag.
Everyone wants to feel secure when they board a plane. But what if you're leaving on an extended honeymoon or a destination wedding and have items you don't feel safe checking? Or if you ordinarily travel light and normally make do with one personal bag plus a carry-on?
Under the new rules, it's wise to choose one carry-on bag with multiple compartments that conforms to airline bag size and weight allowances. And leave that big purse or computer bag home.
